Patrycja Léonard-Pawluk

Patrycja Léonard-Pawluk works for people and the earth. An organizational psychologist and trainer by profession. A person of many passions whose common denominator is the harmony of people and the planet. She founded a zero-waste gem of the Tri-City with her husband, the Ziemiosfera zero-waste concept store & cafe in Gdansk Wrzeszcz. She leads zero-waste workshops daily, gives motivational speeches, and advises what eco-positive changes we can make today. She will talk about the Ziemiosfera zero waste concept store and how we all can make a difference.

Prof. Dr. OSMAN MÜBİN KARATEPE

Prof. Dr. OSMAN MÜBİN KARATEPE
is a widely cited and recognized researcher whose research addresses various issues in organizational psychology, marketing, and tourism and hospitality management. He holds the position of Professor of Marketing in the Faculty of Tourism at Eastern Mediterranean University. He is also an Eminent Scholar in the Department of Global Business, School of Global Eminence, Kyung Hee University, Seoul, Republic of Korea as well as a Visiting Research Professor in the Department of Finance and Management at the WSB Merito University in Wroclaw, Poland. He is the Managing Editor of the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Insights.  During the plenary part of the conference, he will deliver a speech on the role of internal green marketing in achieving environmental sustainability.

Dr. OVE OKLEVIK

Dr. OVE OKLEVIK is an Associate Professor in Marketing and Statistics at the Western Norway University of Applied Science, Norway.
He holds a Ph.D. in marketing from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). He has published in journals such as Event Economics, the Scandinavian Journal of Tourism and Hospitality, and
the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management. During the conference’s plenary session, he will talk about over-tourism
as a driver and barrier to sustainable development.

Prof. Dr. FEVZI OKUMUS

Prof. Dr. FEVZI OKUMUS is the CFHLA Preeminent Chair Professor in the Department
of Hospitality Services at the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management. As of April 5, 2023, his publications have received more than 19200 citations and his h-index is 66, according to Google Scholar. His research covers various aspects of strategic management, marketing, tourism and hospitality. He is editor-in-chief
of the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, one of the leading journals in hospitality and tourism. He is also editor-in-chief of the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Insights. During the plenary part of the conference, he will deliver a speech on the role of businesses
in sustainable and socially responsible development based on the case of Rosen Hotels and Resorts.

Prof. BABAK TAHERI

Prof. Babak Taheri is a Professor in the Department of Hospitality, Hotel Management and Tourism at Texas A&M University. He has an established reputation in the marketing field with a specific expertise in marketing management, consumer research, hospitality, tourism, leisure and cultural consumption. The innovative nature of his research traces to multidisciplinary work and to methodologically robust measurement and assessment of key concepts. In recent years, he has over 150 academic publications, a significant number of which are in internationally rated top-tier journals with high impact factors. He is Associate Editor of two journals: The Service Industries Journal and International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management. Furthermore, he received extensive coverage in media outlets such as The Conversation, The Irish Times, Travel Daily News, and Esports News.  During the conference’s plenary session, he will talk about sustainability and the post-covid world.
